Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FlashSoft Apps ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Mole Tracker iOS application and related services.
1. Summary
Mole Tracker is a skin and mole monitoring app. It helps you organize mole photos, profile information, body maps, reminders, UV index information, and AI-assisted analysis results. It is not a medical diagnosis tool and does not replace a clinician.
2. Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following categories of data:
- Profile data, such as profile name, relationship label, gender selection, and reminder preferences.
- Skin and mole tracking data, such as mole names, notes, body-map placement, photos, measurements, symptom labels, skin survey answers, risk profile answers, and AI analysis results.
- Body photo data, including full-body and regional photos and any notes you attach to them.
- Location data, if you allow it, to show the UV index and local weather-related information for your area.
- Notification preferences, such as reminder frequency and preferred reminder time.
- Subscription and transaction status, such as purchased product identifiers, entitlement status, and renewal or expiration dates made available through Apple StoreKit and our subscription tooling.
- Support request data, such as your message, optional email address, optional profile name, app version, device type, platform, locale, and the IP address seen by our support endpoint.
- Limited technical and configuration data made available by service providers such as Firebase Remote Config, Apphud, Apple Search Ads attribution, and Apple platform services.
3. Sensitive Data and Health-Related Information
Mole photos, body photos, symptom labels, measurements, and skin-risk questionnaire answers can be sensitive or health-related information. We treat this information as sensitive and use it only to provide the feature you requested, such as tracking changes over time, generating reports, or running AI-assisted analysis.
We do not sell your health-related information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. How Data Is Collected
- Directly from you when you create profiles, take photos, add notes, answer questionnaires, contact support, or choose settings.
- From your device when the app stores content locally, schedules reminders, or reads your permission status.
- From Apple when purchases are processed through the App Store or when iCloud private sync is enabled on your account.
- From third-party service providers when a feature needs them, such as AI analysis, UV index lookup, subscription management, remote configuration, or attribution measurement.
5. How We Use Data
- To provide and maintain the app's core tracking features.
- To store, sync, and restore your profiles, photos, notes, and related app content.
- To run on-demand AI-assisted mole analysis that you initiate.
- To show the UV index and location-based sun-protection guidance if you grant location permission.
- To manage subscriptions, premium access, purchase restoration, and feature limits.
- To send local reminder notifications if you enable reminders.
- To reply to support requests and improve service quality, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- To configure parts of the app remotely, such as paywall or moderation settings.
6. AI Analysis Processing
When you request AI analysis, the app sends the selected mole photo and any optional metadata you provide, such as diameter, color, shape, border details, and symptom labels, to our analysis backend. That backend forwards the request to an external AI provider to generate the analysis result.
AI analysis is provided only on request. It is intended for informational support and triage assistance, not for diagnosis, treatment, emergency use, or medical decision-making.
8. Storage and Sync
Core tracking content is stored locally on your device using the app's local data store. If iCloud sync is enabled on the device and available for the app, some app data may also be synced through your personal iCloud private database.
You control your device permissions and iCloud settings. If you disable iCloud for the app, future syncing through iCloud should stop, although copies already stored in your private iCloud account may remain there until removed under Apple's systems and retention rules.
9. Data Retention
- Local and iCloud-synced app content is kept until you delete it, delete the related profile or item, reset app data, or remove it through applicable Apple account controls.
- Support requests may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- AI-analysis request data should be retained only as long as needed to deliver the requested result, secure the service, troubleshoot, and comply with law or platform obligations.
- Purchase and subscription records are also retained by Apple under Apple's own policies and systems.
10. Legal Bases
Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include your consent, performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations.
11. Your Choices and Rights
- You can control camera, photo library, location, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can delete app content inside the app, including profiles, photos, and related entries.
- You can request deletion of support-request information by contacting us.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
- If local law gives you privacy rights such as access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, or objection, you can contact us to exercise them.
12. Children and Family Profiles
If you create a profile for another person, including a child or family member, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to provide any related photo or health-related information for tracking purposes. The app is not intended for unsupervised use by children.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of storage, transmission, or security is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process information in countries other than your own. By using the app, you understand that data may be processed where our providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual or technical safeguards where required.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated inside the app or through other reasonable means.
