Mole Tracker

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FlashSoft Apps ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Mole Tracker iOS application and related services.

1. Summary

Mole Tracker is a skin and mole monitoring app. It helps you organize mole photos, profile information, body maps, reminders, and UV index information. It is not a medical diagnosis tool and does not replace a clinician.

Short version: core tracking data is stored locally on your device. Certain features send data to third parties only when needed, for example UV index lookup, subscription handling, remote configuration, and support requests.

2. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following categories of data:

  • Profile data, such as profile name, relationship label, gender selection, and reminder preferences.
  • Skin and mole tracking data, such as mole names, notes, body-map placement, photos, measurements, symptom labels, skin survey answers, and risk profile answers.
  • Body photo data, including full-body and regional photos and any notes you attach to them.
  • Location data, if you allow it, to show the UV index and local weather-related information for your area.
  • Notification preferences, such as reminder frequency and preferred reminder time.
  • Subscription and transaction status, such as purchased product identifiers, entitlement status, and renewal or expiration dates made available through Apple StoreKit and our subscription tooling.
  • Support request data, such as your message, optional email address, optional profile name, app version, device type, platform, locale, and the IP address seen by our support endpoint.
  • Limited technical and configuration data made available by service providers such as Firebase Remote Config, Apphud, Apple Search Ads attribution, and Apple platform services.

3. Sensitive Data and Health-Related Information

Mole photos, body photos, symptom labels, measurements, and skin-risk questionnaire answers can be sensitive or health-related information. We treat this information as sensitive and use it only to provide the feature you requested, such as tracking changes over time or generating reports.

We do not sell your health-related information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. How Data Is Collected

  • Directly from you when you create profiles, take photos, add notes, answer questionnaires, contact support, or choose settings.
  • From your device when the app stores content locally, schedules reminders, or reads your permission status.
  • From Apple when purchases are processed through the App Store.
  • From third-party service providers when a feature needs them, such as UV index lookup, subscription management, remote configuration, or attribution measurement.

5. How We Use Data

  • To provide and maintain the app's core tracking features.
  • To store and restore your profiles, photos, notes, and related app content on your device.
  • To show the UV index and location-based sun-protection guidance if you grant location permission.
  • To manage subscriptions, premium access, purchase restoration, and feature limits.
  • To send local reminder notifications if you enable reminders.
  • To reply to support requests and improve service quality, reliability, and abuse prevention.
  • To configure parts of the app remotely, such as paywall or moderation settings.

6. Third-Party AI Processing

The current App Store review build of Mole Tracker does not send mole photos, symptom labels, measurements, or related tracking content to any third-party AI provider.

If a future version introduces optional third-party AI features, the app will provide a clear in-app notice before any upload, identify the recipient, and request consent before sending that data.

7. When We Share Data

We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Apple, for StoreKit purchases and App Store services.
  • Weather and location-related service providers, such as Open-Meteo and Apple location/geocoding services, when you use UV index features.
  • Firebase Remote Config, to load remote settings and feature configuration.
  • Apphud and Apple Search Ads attribution services, to manage subscriptions and attribution analytics.
  • Our support and hosting providers, when you contact us or when server infrastructure is needed to operate the service.
  • Authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the app for cross-app tracking, and the app is not designed to serve third-party advertising based on your health-related content.

8. Storage

Core tracking content is stored locally on your device using the app's local data store.

This version of Mole Tracker does not sync personal health information to iCloud. If you remove the app or erase device data, locally stored records may be removed unless you have your own backup.

9. Data Retention

  • Locally stored app content is kept until you delete it, delete the related profile or item, or reset app data.
  • Support requests may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Purchase and subscription records are also retained by Apple under Apple's own policies and systems.

11. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can control camera, photo library, location, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
  • You can delete app content inside the app, including profiles, photos, and related entries.
  • You can request deletion of support-request information by contacting us.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
  • If local law gives you privacy rights such as access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, or objection, you can contact us to exercise them.

12. Children and Family Profiles

If you create a profile for another person, including a child or family member, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to provide any related photo or health-related information for tracking purposes. The app is not intended for unsupervised use by children.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of storage, transmission, or security is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. International Data Transfers

Some service providers may process information in countries other than your own. By using the app, you understand that data may be processed where our providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual or technical safeguards where required.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated inside the app or through other reasonable means.
